This week we brainstormed ideas to increase turbulence with Dr. Xi. We designed our ideas in solidworks to be 3D printed and used with our system. We also did some testing using formulas from deliverable 5 to measure a specific amount of nanoparticles. We used 3.4 grams mixed into 1 liter of water and four of our ceramic magnets. Using four magnets, we collected more nanoparticles than the previous test, but we will next try our experiment with neodymium magnets, which are much stronger.
